What's up? Give me some skin!

Before I came here, I often watch the American movies and Tv show to study English. And I've always wondered the meaning of phrases people said when they met their friend, "what's up? give me some skin!"

"What's up?" is just a greeting, like "hi, how are you?" . So when we meet our friends, we can say this phrase. Also "give me some skin!" is the same as "give me five!". It means "give me hi-touch". They are really useful phrases for greeting in informal way.

Japan and United States

Japan and United States, there are a lot of different things between us. Today I talk about two apparent differences, biology and life style.

Firstly, United States is a really big country and it has two big cities, New York and Los Angeles. New York is placed East part, and Los Angeles is placed West part. Definitely they are too far to visit both  place, and we have to take airplane. Japan has also big cities in East and West part, Tokyo and Osaka. However, Japan is a small country, so we can visit both of them easily. We do not need to take airplane. We can take Shinkansen.

Secondly, we always take off the shoes, and sit on the floor in the house. So we do not have so many furniture to sit like chairs and sofas unlike to United States. Also we sometimes sleep on the floor. It is not uncommon thing in Asian country, but it is totally uncommon thing in United States.
